Throw is the basic grenade skill - it's the equivalent of Shoot for guns. Once a pirate has completed the Grenade Quests, they start with this ability.
In order to throw a grenade, you have to select your grenade pouch, select any of the 5 ammo types, then left-click to throw. The angle of the pirate's view will affect distance. Looking at the ground will drop it at your feet.
Also, a pirate with Long Volley can use that skill for a longer hurls.
Increasing the ability, increases the amount of damage.
