Pre-Alpha was the development stage in The Legend of Pirates Online before anything was released for play to anyone in the general public. Pre-Alpha ran from The Legend of Pirates Online's founding, February 16th, 2015 to to the release of Closed-Alpha, September 11th, 2015. The project is currently in Semi-Open Beta.
Developer Previews[]
During Pre-Alpha, developer previews were created to display some of the features that had been restored to the game. The development team also ran multiple live streams to show off their progress.
Blacklist Testing[]
During Pre-Alpha users were able to enter The Legend of Pirates Online IRC channel and chat about different potential and seen updates. This tested the in-game blacklist, for the moderation bot in the channel used this list for chat filtering.
