The Legend of Pirates Online Beta is the second testing phase of the game's development. It is the time period that is currently taking place following the closure of Alpha and will include all of POTCO's original content.
The currently planned testing phases are:
- Alpha
- Closed Alpha (Completed)
- Semi-Open Alpha (Completed)
- Beta
- Semi-Open Beta (announced December 7, 2016) (Completed)
- Open Beta
On November 5th, 2016, a Beta trailer was released:
On December 7, 2016, semi-open Beta was officially announced in a news post on TLOPO's official website. On December 9th, 2016, semi-open Beta was released at 3:00pm EST.
On September 1st, 2017, Open Beta was officially announced in a news post on TLOPO's official website. On September 19th, 2017, Open Beta was released at 3:00pm EDT. Players can now enjoy the game without any time restrictions, keys, and/or PlayTime scheduling.
