The Straw Explorer Hat is a hat that can be purchased in Port Royal or Tortuga. It came out the same time as the fishing update.
The hat is made out of woven straw and has a black hat cord going around the crown.
It's often worn by fishermen to keep the sun out of their eyes while remaining lightweight. It looks a bit like a modern-day fedora.
