A Storage Chest is an expanded inventory for pirates that has additional spaces for weapons, clothing, potions, tattoos and jewelry beyond the limits of the Sea Chest.
However, unlike a Sea Chest, the Storage Chest does NOT travel with the pirate everywhere they go. Instead, they must go to a Storage Broker to access their additional inventory.
Getting a Storage Chest[]
While the Sea Chest is automatically given to a pirate when they begin the game, a Storage Chest is NOT available until the pirate has a Notoriety level of 40 or higher and they complete a special unlock quest - Storage Unlock: The Banking Brothers.
Upon completion of the quest, the pirate will have their chest with extra storage of 42 more weapons.
Storage Brokers[]
To access the Storage Chest, a pirate must return to one of the Broker locations throughout the islands.
Look for the Storage Broker sign shingle outside their door.

Selecting Your Inventory[]
Once you're inside a Storage Broker's vault, click on any Storage Chest scattered about the area. Your current Storage Inventory will open. The pirate's Sea Chest Inventory will also open. Select the correct tab (Weapons, Clothing, Tattoos & Jewelry or Potions) and the inventory will also change.
Use the Arrows at the top to move from page to page. If you try to move to a New page, you will be prompted to purchase an expansion.
Storage Chest Pages[]
Weapons Storage[]
Any bladed melee weapons, firearms, voodoo dolls and voodoo staves are stored here, as well as Sailing Items like charms, cannon rams, etc.
Garb Storage[]
Clothing items (Hats, Coats, Vests, Shirts, Blouses, Pants, Skirts, Belts and Shoes ) are stored on this page.
Potion Storage[]
Potions and tonics, either purchased, found in loot or made at a Potion Table can be kept here.
Jewelry & Tattoo Storage[]
Tattoo designs and jewelry items (rings, ear rings, lip and brow piercings) all share this storage area.
Moving from Sea Chest to Storage Chest[]
Hold and drag an item from the Sea Chest to the Storage Chest. Be sure both are set to the correct page (Weapons/Weapon, Clothing/Clothing, etc.) or right-click on the item you wish to store from the Sea Chest. It will re-appear in the Storage Chest.
Moving from Storage Chest to Sea Chest[]
Hold and drag an item out of the Storage Chest to the Sea Chest. Be sure both are set to the correct page (Weapons/Weapon, Clothing/Clothing, etc.) or right-click on the item you wish to store from the Storage Chest. It will re-appear in the Sea Chest.
Expansion[]
Initially, the Storage Chest has 1 page (42 slots) for extra weapons. Adding space for clothing, potions, and tattoos and jewelry can be purchased for gold and materials for a maximum of 3 pages of each kind.
Each page of each kind of item must be purchased separately.
