The Staff of the Hollowed Gem is a Legendary Voodoo Staff added in the 2020 Hollowed Woods event update. It has the power to unleash a supernatural fire, harnessed from the energies swirling around in the Hollowed Woods on Port Royal.
This staff's extremely powerful Jumbee Fire weapon skill sets enemies on fire with a hot green flame, similar to the Breath of Hollowed Woods grenade! The gemstone attached radiates a very strong Desolation boost and Desolation Resistance, greatly protecting the caster from overcoming the hex's powerful and destructive capabilities, cutting the damage by half.
Lastly, the staff aids by storing the dark energy within the crystal and enhances it which vastly boosts the pirate's Spirit Lore and Spirit Mastery skills - making them a very potent voodoo wielder indeed!
It DOES require the completion of the Crystals in Hollowed Woods quest to obtain, and can only be found in Loot from random Jumbee enemies in Hollowed Woods main area (including the Town Hall), inside Crystal Caverns, or purchased from April May inside her gypsy wagon in Hollowed Woods during the event. Be warned, April charges a very hefty price because of how much effort it takes her to create such a weapon.

This early concepts art design was taken inspiration from The Griffon's Saddlebag website. TLOPO team made a "digital scrapbooking" to splicing a few different images from The Griffon's Saddlebag and stitching/recoloring them into a more refined unique design.
Game Notes[]
- This staff was added in The Legend of Pirates Online and was NOT part of the original Pirates Online.
- The two Jumbee Voodoo Master in Hollowed Woods Town Hall can also drop this staff.
- This weapon and the Staff of Rebirth are currently the only two Legendary Staves in the game.
- This weapon, along with the Silver Striker are currently the only purchasable legendary weapons in the game.
- In update 2023-12-14 tlopo-pyp-v1.12.0, both Spirit Mastery and Spirit Lore boosts were decreased by one point.
