Staff of Rebirth is a Legendary Nature Staff and is one of the four legendary weapons kept in The Keepers' Stash. It is offered to the Pirate upon the completion of the Chapter 5 Story Quest: The Keepers of the Code.
This powerful staff generates a Rank 5 Nature Aura that will heal all nearby pirate allies, and the user, when activated. It also grants the wielder an Immunity against Stunning attacks. In addition, Rebirth provides incredible boosts to Blast, Pestilence and Conservation, which means the user can cast dangerous DoT infused spells while expending less Voodoo energy per attack!
Like the rest of the Keepers' Stash, this staff requires a pirate to have mastered it's weapon skill to wield it.
Background[]
Like the other legends offered to the Pirate as reward, this staff is a copy of an item used by a member of The Keepers of the Code. The Staff of Rebirth is inspired by Alaina Seastone's powerful voodoo weapon, but not an exact duplicate.
It appears to be powered by a magical gemstone, rumored to have been found deep in The Gilded Quarry. Madam Bernadette likely crafted this item, but could not replicate the original magic that had created the staff Alaina's father, Jeremiah Seastone, had constructed years ago.
Game Notes[]
- This item was NOT in the original Pirates Online, but added to The Legend of Pirates Online.
- Along with Ridgeway's Revenge, this item was leaked before release via the TLOPO Test Server. It was accidentally added to Holly Frost's redeem shop, and first discovered by the players Molly McMorrigan & Destroyer.
- This weapon's stats have been altered multiple times:
- The first iteration had a resell value of 2,250 gold, +3 Blast and Rank 3 Nature Aura.
- The second iteration introduced a new unique weapon model, raised Nature Aura to Rank 4, and increased the resell value to 5,000.
- Third iteration, which simply increased the blast boost by 1 point. This version persisted on the live server for most of 2022 & 2023.
- Fourth iteration was introduced in patch 2023-12-14 tlopo-pyp-v1.12.0, which swapped the Concentration boost for a Pestilence one, and increased the Nature Aura rank to level 5. This is the current state of the weapon.
