The Rowdy Rooster is a tavern on Port Royal, where Nelson Welch tends the bar.
In addition to drinks and company, the tavern also offers Poker and Blackjack tables for pirates to gamble away their ill-gotten gold.
There are a few other minor characters here with whom the player can interact:
- Black Mack - Card shark, offers players a minor quest for a cheat card.
- William Turk - Local, helps players with Tattoo Quests and the Pirate Life Quest.
- Yellow Dan - One of Sam Seabones' quests is to find Dan's stolen earring.
- Melody - A Musician was added in The Legend of Pirates Online.

- Captain Jack Sparrow can be found here during the Father's Day Holiday, offering a special quest.
- This tavern has a very famous balcony glitch that is often used, where the pirate can stand up on a balcony and walk up and down the stairs.
- Black Mack and Yellow Dan also appear in the Black Mack's Blackjack Shack Meetup Location .
