Parry,is a passive sword skill that gives a pirate the ability to deflect an incoming melee attack with their sword. If an enemy attacks you and the Parry skill is activated, the word "Parry" will show up instead of a damage. The more you level up the skill, the more chance the Parry skill will be activated. This skill is unlocked at Sword level 6.
Increasing this ability increases the chance to parry.

This ability can be temporarily increased by a weapon bonus or the Master's Riposte weapon skill.
Also, a user in possession of Viper's Kiss can have a Parry boost of 10!
