Legendary Items are the most powerful (and hardest to find)items ever to be seen in the Caribbean. These items have powers like no other weapons discovered. They are easily recognized by their red backgrounds and unique appearances. Currently, there are a total of 34 obtainable legendary items within The Legend of Pirates Online, see if you can try and collect them all!
Many legendary items can only be found in certain places and several can be obtained only from certain enemies. Some legends can be found nearly anywhere. A few can be bought using special currencies with vendors in Holiday events. Legendary items may show up in sailing loot as well, and they only show up in higher quality loot containers such as the Loot Chest and Loot Skull Chest.
In order to loot a legendary item, a pirate must be within 5 levels of its weapon level requirement. Some items require an additional quest in order to unlock the drop, such as Cursed Blades and The Storm Sphere. However, these restrictions do not apply to the5sea-exclusivelegendaries, as they can be looted by a mere level 1 pirate.
Note: Legendary items are extremely difficult to find even for a seasoned pirate. Luck has to be on your side to obtain any one of them.

The second Legendary Weapon, Silver Freeze, (previously known as Mercer's Blades) are Throwing Knives that can freeze a large group of enemies for a small amount of time. While it is possible to find these knives almost anywhere, the boss Foulberto Smasho is known to possess them.
During a Holiday event, Some of the vendors in the Caribbean are kind enough to offer their service to you in return for your extraordinary efforts of aid with these legendary gifts. Some do not require you a quest to complete in unlocking these instead, you can purchase them directly without the need to looting the legendary item. The prices would seem unfair to swashbuckling eyes but does require the devotion of looting currencies to be able to afford them.

Redeem Code Legendary Weapons
There are two legendary weapons that were released via redeem code. The first was the Heart of Padres del Fuego in April 2013, and the second was Barbossa's Fury, which was released in September 2013. Additionally, during the closing event the Lost Sword of El Patron was also available to be redeemed with the code 'elpatron'.
Legendary Items
While they may not directly damage your enemies, they aid greatly in the tide of battle. There are currently 4 obtainable legendary sailing items: Jack Sparrow's, Norrington's & Beckett's Spyglasses and the Bottle Rocket Cannon Ram - Norrington's Spyglass was originally given out to the top 50 competitors of the Sink The Most Navy Ships competition, but it is now lootable from Navyflagships.
