Krakenslayer is a very powerful Legendary Cursed Broadsword introduced on The Legend of Pirates Online with the Forsaken Shallows expansion.
This blade is cursed like any other of the Dutchman's weaponry but this very blade has the unique potential to slay the undersea guardian of the Flying Dutchman, the legendary sea monster known as The Kraken summoned by Davy Jones himself in his calling. It has the Dark Curse ability of Rank 4, making it's Dark Curse ability on par with other powerful swords like Soul's Shadow & Dark Whisper.
Secondarily, this weapon and its Famed counterparts have obtained a unique passive. Named Dutchman's Wrath, this ability causes the weapon to passively deal increased damage to any and all members of Davy Jones' crew.
Last, but certainly not least, the weapon boasts a huge boost to the Blade Storm skill, buffing its damage by 4 levels (for a Max of 9).

- This Cursed Blade was the first of the brand new six Legendary Cursed Blades added in the Forsaken Shallows Expansion, and was found by Henry Dreadhound.
- An unknown author published a blog post on the TLOPO website concerning the Cursed Blade shortly after, stating that it is capable of killing the Kraken.
- This weapon and Devil's Claw are the only blades in the Caribbean known to have a +4 boost to Blade Storm!
