Hardtack is a Bayou Alligator boss who lives in the Tortuga Graveyard. There's a small pond at the bottom of the hill and here he makes his home, though it's quite far from any bayou.
He appears at Levels 4-7, but can be difficult for lower level pirates.

- Hardtack will re-spawn in the same spot every time.
- The term hardtack comes from a tough, basic biscuit carried on ships and by soldiers. Though not very appetizing on it's own, sailors would soak them in rum or sauce to make them easier eating.
- The boss Dreadtooth was located here but was moved to El Sudoron.
