Guild Officer is a designated rank in a Guild, above that of Guild Veteran. Any guild member can be promoted to this rank, but only the Guild Master or Co-Guildmaster* has the power to promote officers.
An officer can invite pirates to join the Guild as Guild Members. They have the power to remove Veterans and Members, but can NOT boot other officers.
Officers can also create Guild Invite Codes to allow pirates to join the guild at a later time. In Pirates Online, there was little restriction on these invites. In The Legend of Pirates Online, an officer can only create a Limited Use invite code.
