Leading Jolly Roger's forces in the Misty Mire on Tortuga, this Undead Gypsy Boss has taken residence outside a cabin with a few Undead Brigands.
He is one of four Generals the pirate has to overcome to complete the Taboo Doll quest. He appears at Level 23-30, and is the second-strongest of the generals.
General Hex also possesses a powerful Legendary voodoo doll, Calypso's Radiance. If the pirate should be so fortunate, he may drop it after being defeated. He is the only enemy in the game capable of dropping this mystic prize.

- General Hex will always respawn in the same location every time.
- General Hex is the ONLY boss in the game (alongside with the Hollowed Woods bosses & Bilgewater unstationary bosses) that cannot drop Lost Sword of El Patron, Silver Freeze, and Silver Striker.
- General Hex is the ONLY boss in the game that has a singular legendary in its loot pool.
- When initially introduced to the game, both Lost Sword of El Patron & Silver Freeze were on his loot pool, but this was changed shortly afterwards.
- General Hex used to be an Undead Duelist Boss, but was later changed to an Undead Gypsy Boss.
