Exploration is a game mode where the pirate can visit a PvP, Capture the Chest, Domination or special area without being part of a Pirate vs. Pirate game or having a timer.
To Explore these special maps, open the Lobbies by pressing (L) or selecting Lobbies from the Sea Chest menu.
Select the Adventures Menu, then click Exploration.
The Host (pirate who creates the Lobby) of the Exploration Lobby can then select which map to explore.
Exploration Lobbies default to Public, meaning ANY pirate can join the Lobby and explore the map. But the Host can also set the map to Private, to explore the map alone or send Invite Codes to their mates to join.
