Doc Pierce aka Dr. Edwin J. Pierce II, Ph'd is a physician who practices medicine on the remote pirate haven of Bilgewater.
Location[]
Doc has a small office at his residence, Pierce's Practice, in Shantytown. It's located across from the Keepers' Headquarters. Inside, you'll find Doc at his deck.
Change Appearance[]
Like other doctors, he offers Change-A-Pirate, the ability to change the pirate's physical appearance for a price.
Quests[]
The pirate will need to visit Doc Pierce during the Story Quest: The Keepers of the Code while aiding Oliver Ridgeway.
Bio[]
Not much is known about Doc's origins other than coming from a long line of medical men. He did attend Cambridge before joining the Royal Navy as a ship's surgeon. It was there he befriended Oliver Ridgeway, who was a ship's officer.
In time, the two men felt between the rampant corruption amongst the officers and the cruelty done to the men they had no future in the Navy. Oliver jumped ship but in time, he returned to free his friend and brought him to Bilgewater.
While Doc does feel being amongst pirates on a remote tropical island is somewhat beneath the living standards to which he was accustomed, at least here he knows he's needed and appreciated.
