Story Quests

Story quests are the primary quests in the game. They provide the most notoriety and cannot be dropped. Most Story quests are very long, and usually advance the story progression in the game. All Story quests (with the exception of the Set Sail Story Quest) have a boss battle at the very end. The boss battles can be Treasure Maps, which can be repeated, or one-time boss battles, which can be performed only once.

The Story Quests[]

In the original Pirates Online, there were only 3 story quests. The developers had hinted at adding more of them over time. The Legend of Pirates Online has since added 2 new chapters with the promise of more to come.

Chapter 1: Rambleshack[]

• The Tutorial quest is the very first quest that starts off in the tutorial on Rambleshack where the pirate meets Cap'n Jack.

Chapter 2: Set Sail![]

• Story Quest: Set Sail commences after the player leaves Rambleshack.

Chapter 3: The Black Pearl[]

• Story Quest: The Black Pearl Crew unlocks after the player finishes the Set Sail quest, by receiving their first pistol from Barbossa.

Story Quest: Raven's Cove[]

• Story Quest: Raven's Cove unlocks at Notoriety level 30. It is not considered one of the chaptered story quests.

Chapter 4: The Headstone (Part 1)[]

• Story Quest: The Headstone unlocks after the player completes The Black Pearl Crew story quest.

Chapter 5: The Keepers of the Code[]

• Story Quest: The Keepers of the Code takes the pirate to Bilgewater to recruit help in finding the Headstone.

Story Quest: The Black Spot[]

• Story Quest: The Black Spot takes place after the Raven's Cove story quest, when the pirate is attacked on the high seas by the Kraken, and involves uncovering the mystery behind the Black Spot on the pirate's palm. It is not considered one of the chaptered story quests.
