A doctor is a practitioner of medicine and healing. In Pirates Online, there was originally only one doctor, Doc Grog. Like other NPC's, Doc could be part of quests and offer healing to injured pirates, but he had no other special function.

In the Legend of Pirates Online, several other new NPC Doctors have been added.

Each doctor has this shingle sign outside their front door.

A doctor can be found on each of the colonized islands.

Change-A-Pirate[]

In The Legend of Pirates Online, there are several NPC's who have careers as doctors. These characters (including Dr. Grogan) now offer a new feature: Change-A-Pirate (Change Appearance). This allows pirates to completely change their appearance (except gender) by using the original Create-A-Pirate function from the beginning of the game.

Each usage of Change-A-Pirate though costs gold, increasing each time it's used.

• First Use: 150,000 Gold
• Second Use: 225,000
• After 2nd: 300,000
