The Item Rarity of Common items are ordinary, run-of-the-mill equipment. They aren't hard to obtain, but some of these items are very well crafted. They can be of great use for beginning and intermediate pirates working up his/her reputation.

Some can be found in loot drops, while most others can be bought from merchants. Most items found in merchant stores are Common Items.

In Pirates Online, the player had to have Unlimited Access to use any Common Items.
