Blood Fire is an ability that uses the life energy of its unfortunate victims to gain its cursed fire. When an enemy is defeated, the fire grows bigger, and the weapon becomes more lethal. The fire decreases over time and eventually disappears. Blood Fire is a passive weapon skill, and does not need to be activated. Note: Can only be seen by the owner of the sword.
Blood Fire gives Damage Increases per Mark of 5% to a Maximum of 50% Extra Damage at Full Bar.
Damage stays at last Stack achieved until bar completely depletes.
- Blood Fire Rank 1 gives 1 Mark per Kill. (Max Stacks after 9 Kills)
- Blood Fire Rank 2 gives 2 Marks per Kill. (Max Stacks after 5 Kills)

- Damage was tested using a Bloodfire Sabre and Dutchman's Pestilence's First Swing (High Cut and Chop, respectively.) at Rank 1. Bloodfire Sabre: 121 Damage to 127, 133, 139, 145, 151, 157, 163, 170, and 176. Dutchman's Pestilence: 219 Damage to 252, 285, and 318.
- Damage with Ripsaw Blade's First Swing (Chop) at Rank 1: 225 Damage to 248, 270, 293, 315, and 338.
