The Bilgewater Jail is a run-down, half-condemned building with a few functioning cells. It's only a Jail in name for the most part, since there's no Royal Navy or East India authority on Bilgewater. But, it can come in handy when some pirates have had a bit too much rum and need a place to sleep it off without causing trouble.
When on the island, should the pirate be Knocked Out, they will wake up here. Leaving the cell is the same as other jails. Just kick open the door to let yourself out.
Interior[]
Inside, there are a number of cells, like in any other jail found in the Caribbean but a couple are in great state of disrepair. Maj Gen Baldwin is sleeping in one of them.
Back Wall[]
If the pirate walks around the outside wall of Town Center, they'll find a path coming out on the back wall of the jail. This wall is in complete shambles. It's not known if was blasted by cannon fire, blown up from the inside during an escape, just collapsed from age.
NPC's[]
- Guard Dog Donnie - A pirate and part-time jailer.
- Vector - Donnie's best friend.
- Major General Everard Baldwin - The jail's sole prisoner.
Quests[]
While the pirate will not need to go inside the jail, they will need to speak to Donnie as part of Story Quest: The Keepers of the Code.
