Absorption is a Mojo Doll voodoo hex redirecting 80% of enemy damage back into the pirate's health for 10 seconds.
To use Absorption, press 4 or click the Absorption icon at the bottom of the screen. You do NOT need to have enemies or allies attuned to use this hex, since it affects the pirate directly.
There is currently only 1 rank of Absorption.
